English Anime Dub for Henkei Shoujo
Ascendent Animation is proud to announce their newest acquisition of, “Henkei Shoujo”. Alongside this acquisition, we are also proud to announce the production of an English dub of the series.
Henkei Shoujo is being dubbed in partnership with the Japanese company DLE. The show is based off of a Japanese manga written and illustrated by the artist, Popuri Yoshikita. It is the precursor to the new manga series, “Shin Henkei Shoujo”.
About Henkei Shoujo
The plot focuses on girls that transform into machines and feature Rin (Jet plane), Haru (Sports car), Itsuki, (Lingerie fighter), Nana, (Warship), and Arisa (Okinomiyaki Robot).
The show follows a gag comedy story-line, featuring dramatic moments wrapped in fun with robots. Each episode runs about a minute long. Michaela Laws (Titan’s Bride, Fire in his Fingertips, Seduce Me), will be directing and adapting the English version. Steve Warky Nunez (Ishida and Asakura, Sonic the Hedgehog), will helm the audio engineering/mixing, and Localization Supervisor will be Kevin Frane (428 Shibuya Scramble, Resonance of Fate, Demon King Evelogia). Once more, K. Cornell Kellum (Vice Squad, The Titan’s Bride), will return as Executive Producer.
